Our dog loves the Petway Maintenance Chicken & Brown Rice. It's his favorite kibble. He'll eat it with or without any canned food & especially loves a freshly opened bag. He even sticks his head in the bag & starts eating before I can even get it scooped out into his bowl. And he knows when that delivery van pulls into his driveway-he can't get to the door fast enough! This is great kibble & helps him maintain a good weight as he is now 9 yrs old.

Good, Natural Stuff

My dogs have been Beneful lovers for a long time. With the increasingly disturbing news about grocery store pet products, we were anxious to get them onto something more natural, safe and tasty. My dogs like this food. The kibble is small enough for our smallest (larger Pomeranian). The kibble is hard for small dogs (with small teeth) to chew, so we moisten it a little. Our lab chows down with no problem, but our two smaller dogs require the moistening. Softened, they chow it down, too!

Neighbor of Dog Mom

We are very happy to have discovered PetWay. I have my 4 beatsies all on Maintenance, I like the fact that it is good to feed all ages, makes it easier at feeding time. I like the fact that it is locally produced, healthy and affordable. My friend/business partner has switched her two dog to it as well, she received her first bag recently. I love PetWay!

Wonderful food

Our dogs love this food. We have five dogs in the house, and they all eat this right up!!! We've tried a couple other products from Petway, but this one they like the best!!! I was turned on to this brand when I started fostering dogs for a local rescue. I have never seen a dog food so reasonably priced with such amazing results. Great food!

I have a 3 year old Keeshond who is very picky about her dog food. She will only eat the all-natural types of food. I used to buy the blue buffalo and I am so thankful I found thepetway because this chicken & brown rice is equivalent to the blue buffalo I used to feed my dog and this is much cheaper for a larger quantity! My dog loves this food way more than the blue buffalo. She actually looks forward to when I feed her! I will not be going back to her old food. This is a great investment and you can't beat the great price for the all-natural food and the home delivery program!

Best investment ever!

I started feeding our 3 dogs this food in the summer of '13. I started noticing a difference in their coat, activity level and general health in the first 3 days of feedings. They never wanted to eat the other food we would give them. It was like pulling teeth! With this food, they always want to eat and eat every last kibble. When we started a long dog sitting for a relative, his coat was dull and flaky. He was overweight and had a moderate activity level. We fed him this food and within the first 3 days, his coat was brighter, shinier and his activity level increased. He started losing some weight before heading back home. We recommend this food to everyone we know who has a dog or cat. Their first response to the price is "oh that's too much!" But then we go into the delivery program and the noticeable changes in our dogs and their attitude changes completely. This food is by far the best investment we've made for our dogs! They are happier, healthier and actually want to eat when they are fed. Highly recommend this food and this company to everyone who is curious!

He Loves his food!

I have a 7 year old Chocolate Lab who has always had trouble w/allergies & he was beginning to gain that mid age weight. He's a big boy, but I like him to not go over 90#. The Chicken w/brown rice maintenance food has been a wonderful food. He hasn't had side effects from this food as The Petway company uses only high quality American grown products. And he loves his food! I had begun adding Dave's all beef canned food to give my dog a bit more protein, but under my control. Dave's canned beef smells good coming out of the can & is also made in America. I'm very pleased with both products & would highly recommend them to anyone. And, an added bonus is that all these foods are delivered directly to your door without charge. So convenient! No more having to go to the store for your dogs food! I left out 1 thing about The Petway staff; they are so kind & helpful & really know where each of their products come from & can assure you that all are made in the U.S.A.!

Awesome Food

My vet recommended PetWay after my two dogs were having issues with skin allergies. At the time I was feeding them name brand food from the grocery store. After consulting with Debbie and Cameron from PetWay (both were extremely helpful) about my dogs' allergies, they recommended this food. Shortly after feeding it to them, I saw awesome results. My dogs are less itchy, and more active and happy. Plus they love the taste of it and consume it rather quickly. While this product may be a little more expensive than name brand food from the grocery store, it is definitely well worth the price. The free delivery to your door is also very convenient. Me and my dogs are very happy we found the PetWay.

Best Food Ever

I've been purchasing this food for about 5-6 years now. two weeks after switching to this food i noticed a BIG difference in my bullmastiff"s coat and skin. The dry spots went any and his coat was soft and shiny. Also with this food my new mastiff maintains her weight. Not to mention that all three off my dogs love it. Good food

I starting giving my 2 yr old black lab this blend after i noticed she was getting a little 'thick' in the middle. Good stuff! Now you can tell that I am part Black Lab..I am shiny as Black Velvet and doing great! When I was rescued, I had dry skin and had some bald spots on my back...No more!!! Happy Husky

Out of our two dogs our Siberian is the pickiest eater. For years we have struggled to find a food he likes. After being referred to the Pet Way we tried the dry kibble with trepidation. Best food & my dogs love it!

Chicken and Rice

We were having a hard time getting our pup, a 1.5 year old Cattle Dog, to eat a pricey dogfood, by adding chicken or other meats. She devours this food with no complaints! Hre coat looks gorgeous, and she is full of energy. Hardly sheds at all! And I love the convenience of delivery. You cant beat the price for this food, and the results.

Absolutely AMAZING!

I have been feeding my dogs super premium holistic foods since they came home at 9 weeks. They have had CONSTANT issues with loose stools and other tummy issues. I switched my one boy to this food after getting some information from a local rescue and he is doing AMAZING!!! He looks fabulous, is healthy as an ox, barely sheds at all, even though the other dogs are shedding like mad! Doesn't get any more convenient than that, I love these people and this food.

Great Food

Q: Dog eats science diet prescription w/d. I'm trying to find petway food equal to It? I took my friends beagle after she passed suddenly. Dog is 11-12 years and forms crystals. Stool is very grainy.

A: The Maintenance is a weight control food, as well as being a low protein limited ingredient diet to help support the kidney issue.

The Science diet WD is a corn based food with a protein level of 18.7 and fat content of 8.7. The PetWay Maintenance is a protein level of 20% and a fat content of 12%.

Q: Shelf life/freshness question. I calculated that a 20 pound bag of Maintenance will last my 4 for 12 days. The 55# will last us around 33 days and is a better value. But what about it's freshness, what size bag/frequency do you recommend?

A: The recommended life of the food for freshness after opening the bag is 30-60 days. This depends of course on how you store the food. A sealed airtight container is recommended.

If you do not have a container, roll the bag up tight and clip with a bag clip.

The bag the food comes is best-if you can set that down in your storage container.

Q: Is this dog food good for a Great Dane? is there any way that I can get a sample to see if my daughters dog will eat it? Thanks!

A: While this food is adequate for a Great Dane we do recommend the Salmon & Brown Rice or Chicken And Brown Rice for Danes as there is joint support in these foods. i will be glad to send some samples for the Dane to try. Answer provided by: Debbie (10/10/2017)
